https://ift.tt/xQUbgqv You don’t need to make your own fernet to enjoy the drink, but if you choose, here’s Noah’s fernet recipe: Ingredients: 5g peppermint, 2g spearmint, 1g eucalyptus, 5g chamomile, 3g gentian, 1g angelica, 1g valerian, 1g cinnamon, 1g ginger, ½ tsp cardamom seeds, ¼ tsp myrrh powder, 2g rhubarb root, 2g licorice root, ½g saffron, 1g galangal, 0.5g wormwood, 1/8 tsp cape aloe powder, 500g vodka Steep for two weeks and strain. Reserve the vodka and aromatics separately. Pour 200g hot water over the reserved aromatics and steep 2–3 more days, then strain. Add the infused water gradually back to the vodka, sweeten to taste (Noah used 75g sugar), and let it sit—the flavor improves over time.
